This handmade set comes with 4 large gingerbread people, 4 small gingerbread people, and 6 peppermints ‘candies’!
Designed to be the perfect open-ended toy, this set can be used in SO many different ways! Set them up as characters in a small world playscape. Serve them up as ‘cookies and candies’ in a play kitchen. Arrange them to make patterns or sort them into their size groups. Count the buttons! Stack them as tall as you can...this can even be turned into a game! One player takes the walnut pieces, and the other player takes the maple pieces, each taking 3 peppermints as well. Then take turns stacking! The winner is the player who can stack all of their pieces without collapsing the tower. A lot of fun and perfect for helping your little one develop their fine motor skills, hand/eye coordination, and patience!
This set is completely handmade with Canadian-grown maple and walnut wood. Each piece is hand-painted with non-toxic, water-based paints, and then completely sealed so the toys are durable enough for little hands! We recommend this playset for children who no longer ‘mouth’ their toys as our finishing is not waterproof. And as always, we encourage adult supervision while our toys are in use :)
