Loose parts are the perfect open-ended toy! Our Loose Part Hearts are all dressed up in their seasonal colors and ready for anything! Stacking, counting, sorting, patterning, small-world play, and building! The opportunities are endless and we can’t wait to see what the big imaginations in your home create with these sets!
Each set comes with 20 loose-part hearts…choose your favorite, or collect them all! Each individual heart is lovingly cut, sanded, painted, sealed, and packaged locally in Alberta by our two sets of hands. The hearts are hand-painted with non-toxic, water-based paint. We also finish them with a non-toxic sealant, making each toy more durable for play.
These hearts can also be used with our Heart Stacking Tree base, and together, the tree is definitely a showstopper! Designed to be stacked, un-stacked, and stacked again, no two trees will ever look exactly the same! The hearts can be used to sort, count, and pattern, and of course, be stacked onto the tree base which really works on balance, patience, and hand/eye coordination skills. The possibilities are endless for this toy…just the way we like it!
This set is completely handmade with Canadian-grown maple wood. Each piece is hand painted with non-toxic, water-based paints, and then sealed so the toys are durable enough for little hands! We recommend this play set for children who no longer ‘mouth’ their toys as our finishing is not waterproof. We strongly recommend that children are supervised by a responsible adult while playing with our toys. We appreciate that you know your child best in regards to how safely they are able to play with toys that include small pieces.
